DOVEVA CENTRARE IL SOLE
The observation of a luminous reflection is the event that gave rise to Doveva centrare il sole. At the center of the frame is a thin object with three inclined circular mirrors, waiting to be hit by the passage of the sun's rays. During this natural temporal progression, the musical composition gives depth to black and white sound pictures in synchrony with the progressive variations in intensity of the glow. Blinded by the persistent light, the voice-over refers to the phenomenon of reflection as something whose creator is unknown but only the effect, someone who sees without being seen. This alludes to the mythical theme of invisibility, the strategy implemented by Perseus in his daring deeds printed on scraps of crumpled pages.
